Dedicated to helping worthy charities, Christine is chairperson of the “Wu Zhi Qiao Bridge Walkathon to China” Charitable Foundation fund-raising committee.
Christine speaks at universities including Peking University, HKU and HKUST on her management and leadership experience. She is also involved in the admission process for the HKUST MBA program and sits on its MBA Alumni Advisory Board.

Currently, Dr Yu is an Associate Member of the Business Advisory Council of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (“UNESCAP”). He sits on the Energy Advisory Committee and the sub-committee on Food Reduction Good Practices in Institutions and Commercial and Industrial Establishments, Food Wise Hong Kong Campaign under the Environment Bureau, Hong Kong SAR government. He is also a member of the working group of Sustainability Charter, Hong Kong and Malmo, Sweden . Dr. Yu is a member of the expert panel on Industry Standards and Research under The Hong Kong Green Building Council. He belongs to the Project Management Committee overseeing the CarbonSmart Program in collaboration with four key Chambers of Commerce supported by the Environment & Conservation Fund. He has also served on the Board of Directors of Hong Kong Institute of Social Impact Analyst.
A former Head of the Climate Programme at WWF-Hong Kong, Dr. Yu is responsible for leading public and business engagement programmes. He was also a member of the support group for the climate project under the Council for Sustainable Development and the Waste Recovery Projects Vetting Sub-committee under the Environment and Conservation Fund. He writes articles for newspapers on the low carbon economy, low carbon city, social innovation and energy poverty, and has co-hosted environmental programmes on many TV and Radio channels.
