Doreen Cheung

A highly experienced communications professional in the Greater China region, Doreen specialises in corporate and marketing communications, brand building, media training, and event management.

Since relocating to Shanghai in 2002, Doreen has developed links with an extensive network of corporations and NGOs in China. She helps many Hong Kong and international NGOs with their marketing and fundraising in the Mainland.

Born in Hong Kong, Doreen holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Hong Kong and a master’s from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

 

Paul Chen
China Representative

Specialising in the hospitality sector, Paul is currently involved in attendee traffic management business and provides logistical support to international MICE organisers holding large conferences in China.

Born in Shanghai, Paul has worked in hospitality since 1989 and was one of the original team at the Shanghai Hilton Hotel, the first wholly foreign-owned hotel in China. In the 1990s, Paul emigrated to New Zealand, living in Auckland where he continued to work in hotels such as the Langham and Crowne Plaza. He later moved to New York to manage one of the city’s top Chinese restaurants before returning to China in 2001.

Paul is qualified by the New Zealand Tourism Board as a Kiwihost. He also holds a Diploma in Travel Standard Course (IATA-UFTAA) accredited by the International Air Transport Association.
